You’ve Tried the Things That Should Have Worked. So Why Don’t You Feel Better?

You're waking at 3am.

The weight around your middle won't shift, no matter how little you eat.

You're hitting 4pm and wondering how you'll get through the rest of the day.

You've cut carbs. Added steps. Tried fasting. Started HRT. Taken the supplements. Some of it helped. Some of it didn't. But you're still not back to feeling like yourself. Here's what's actually happening. Your body has changed the way it responds to food, stress and sleep. And until someone helps you understand those changes, you'll keep treating symptoms one at a time while the real drivers stay hidden. I help midlife women make sense of what's happening in their bodies, so they can stop guessing, stop blaming themselves and start making decisions that actually work.

THE THING NO ONE IS TELLING YOU

Most practitioners treat midlife health the same way. Symptoms in. Plan out. Cut calories. Add exercise. Take HRT. Follow the protocol. And when it doesn't work, the assumption is that you're not doing it properly. Actually, the problem is simpler than that. Not all advice works for everyone.

Some of it helped. Some of it didn’t. But something still isn’t adding up.

Not guessing. Not symptom-chasing. Not handing you the same plan everyone else gets.

If your body is in survival mode, restricting food, pushing harder and doing more won't fix it. It'll make it worse.
I've read the food diaries. Women eating so little their bodies have gone into lockdown. Fasting when their cortisol is already broken. Cutting carbs when their blood sugar is crashing every afternoon.

AND THEN BEING TOLD LOSING WEIGHT IS WILLPOWER…

WHAT I ACTUALLY DO

I combine nutrition, hormone health, advanced testing and neurobiology to help midlife women understand what's driving their symptoms.

Actually diagnosing what's happening, so the decisions you make are based on your body, not someone else's protocol.

Sometimes that means stabilising cortisol and blood sugar before we do anything else. Because if your stress system is dysregulated, restriction won't work. Your body won't let the weight shift. You'll crash harder. Sleep worse. Feel worse.

Sometimes it means hormone testing, neurotransmitter work, or a completely different conversation.

The method depends on what you need. Not what worked for someone else.

And when the reasons behind the changes finally make sense, the changes themselves become easier to make and far easier to stick with.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO ME.

Before retraining in nutrition and hormone health, I spent nearly 20 years working in financial services.

I know what it's like to perform at a high level while making it look effortless. I know demanding careers, long hours and the pressure of holding it all together.

My own health journey, from PCOS and fertility challenges to navigating hormonal change, completely changed the direction of my career.

Today, I work with midlife women who are done with guessing, done with being told it's just willpower, and ready for someone who will actually listen and help them make sense of what's happening.

Because feeling below par isn't something you have to accept.

The decisions you make in your late 40s and early 50s influence literally the rest of your life.
You've got careers you still want to build. Adventures you still want to have. Relationships you want to enjoy. Dreams you haven't achieved yet.

And you shouldn't have to do any of that while running on empty.

What women say…

  • Kate exceeded my expectations.

I have had sessions with nutritional therapists before, however Kate really paid attention and considered my lifestyle in all the recommendation! Much appreciated!!

    Christine, Berkshire

  • Kate offered a 360 look at my life...

including the menopause and HRT but not that exclusively; she looked further and provided the advice and guidance I needed for me. She suggested small lifestyle changes and targeted nutrition advice. Fast forward some months and things have improved.

    - Sally

  • I cannot recommend Kate enough...

her knowledge on nutrition and diet is second to none and her calm and direct advice is exactly what I need to pull me out of my rut. It also helps that Kate is simply a terrifically kind and empathetic person and quickly made me feel that I had found the support I needed.

    - Imogen, Surrey

  • I finally understood what was happening to me.

Everything started to make sense and I stopped blaming myself.
